Thomas Huber
Thomas Huber’s work has been exhibited throughout the Hudson Valley, in New York City and New England, as well as in Montreal, Canada. Recent exhibitions include 2015 Artists of the Mohawk Hudson Region, Juried by Rachel Uffner, at the University Art Museum, University at Albany, Albany NY. In 2014 his work was the subject of a solo exhibition at Theo Ganz Studio in Beacon, NY. In recent years his work has been included in group exhibitions at Matteawan Gallery (The UV Portfolio); Denise Bibro Fine Art and Skylight Gallery, NYC; BAU, Beacon, NY; the Edward Hopper House, Nyack, NY; the Woodstock Artist’s Association and Museum in Woodstock, NY, in which Huber was awarded Best in Show in 2011; Hudson Opera House, Hudson, NY; and Van Brunt Gallery, Beacon, NY. In 2014 Huber curated the exhibition Salon des Refuses at the Garrison Art Center, Garrison, NY. In 2013 he began working with artists Matt Frieburghaus and Laura Kaufman in Decomposer, a collaborative performance group that explores the interaction of sight and sound in space. Huber received a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York. He currently lives in Cold Spring, NY. |
